The Knitwear Technician should have some attitudes developed during his course: accept and face challenges; be cordial; develop good relationships with people; have a spirit of research; have a spirit of initiative and leadership; use common sense in decisions; have an entrepreneurial spirit; be creative, critical and responsible be dynamic, flexible and creative in problem solving; have autonomy; manage work teams and propose innovative ideas; team work; communicate and present studies, conclusions and technical opinions; promote interpersonal relationships; develop proactive, ethical and professional stance; solve problems and suggest alternatives in a comprehensive way; be willing to change; constantly seek self-development. Both these attitudes and the profile of the technician were traced, also consulting the representatives of the textile industries, in which most of the students and trainees of the IF-SC Campus Jaraguá do Sul are active. Therefore, the characteristics necessary for the good performance of the Knitwear Technician were listed.
